Ann Competed in Magnolia’s Silos Baking Competition

Ann Competed in Magnolia’s Silos Baking Competition

A national spotlight, straight from Waco.

Before The Frosted Sheep Bake Shop opened its doors in Canton, there was another kitchen. One with cameras, a countdown clock, and a very familiar set of hosts.

Ann was selected to compete in the Silos Baking Competition at Magnolia, filmed at the Silos in Waco, Texas. Yes, that Magnolia. The one founded by Chip and Joanna Gaines, and featured on the Magnolia Network.

The competition brings together home bakers from across the country to recreate signature recipes under pressure, with limited time and no second attempts. It’s part baking, part precision, and part staying calm while everything is happening at once.

Ann’s entry, her Sunday Breakfast Cookie, was built around a simple idea. A blueberry pancake with maple syrup and a side of bacon. That same cookie now appears on our menu as part of our Grand Opening Specials.

The official trailer for the Silos Baking Competition offers a glimpse into that experience, including a quick look at Ann in the Magnolia kitchen.

From Magnolia to Canton, CT

Experiences like this shape how The Frosted Sheep approaches baking. The same attention to detail, consistency, and balance carries through every cookie and cupcake we make today.

While the Magnolia stage is a long way from Canton, the standard remains the same. Get it right. Every time.
